Abstract

The purpose of this manual is to prepare professionals to conduct an alignment study using the Links for Academic Learning (LAL). LAL was developed to examine the alignment of academic content standards, extended standards (if applicable), professional development activities, instruction, achievement (or performance) standards and alternate assessments based on alternate achievement standards.
